Regardless of the fact her opponent is a horrible congressman for Texas — and he is — what Chelsey brings to the table is more than enough to win this district on her own merits.

He’s a Texas Republican is under House Ethics investigation
U.S. House Ethics Committee is investigating GOP Rep. Lance Gooden
In 2021, the Campaign Legal Center filed a complaint asking for an investigation into Gooden’s apparent failure to report his stock trades in a timely manner, which is a requirement under a federal law known as the STOCK Act. The complaint was sent to the OCC. — Politico
Not sure what he’s under investigation for yet, and they have until AFTER the election to tell us — which is……interesting, no?
Anyways, Forney is one of the places to watch!

Election 2026
We here at GPL are Texas based and thusly Texas focused…but not only.
I (Jalon) am a military brat and have had the great pleasure to have lived all over this great nation and parts of the world. And so, I keep my eyes on everywhere. One of those states I use to live in, politically, has gone down hill since I left.4
Ohio. What….are y’all doing?
Taking the T outta THC.
I can’t wait for a president to just….make this federally legal and leave us alone. Too many states for too many years have shown making weed legal isn’t an issue.
How are we this dumb? Sorry…not we. THEM.

Please remember we have a whole slate of folks running against a full slate of weirdos.5
So while there are a few exciting campaigns getting national eyeballs, we have to make sure we vote alllllll the way down the ballot. Those are the folks that are really working and protecting you.
But we can also enjoy snowflakes melting over numbers.
